Our experience spans the full secondary systems lifecycle, from project development and detailed design through to testing, commissioning, and operational support. We have worked on high-voltage networks up to 500 kV and major transmission and renewable generation projects, including generation connections exceeding 1.3 GW.

About Us

Duncan O’Donnell is a Power Systems Engineer with 19 years of experience and a leading author of standards within the industry.

In 2016, Duncan formed DO Consulting Limited, and since then has been trusted by New Zealand’s biggest power companies to deliver their critical standards.

In 2024, 2025, and 2026 respectively, Jade Seo, Ryan Farrell, and Reinhard Voorhoeve joined DO Consulting as Power Systems Engineers, progressively expanding the company’s capability and delivery capacity.
